Whiplash will play for another week in December!

The film that Al co-starred in "Whiplash" with Ernest Borgnine, will play for another week at the Harkins Shea 14 Theater on Shea Blvd.& Scottsdale Rd. in Scottsdale. Don't miss this second opportunity. You will get to see the other side of Al as he takes to the big screen to fulfill his lifelong acting dream. His character, "Ceaser Goldstein" the flamboyant lawyer known as "The Pit Bull" and creator of some wild schemes will surely surprise you, as this dark comedy unfolds.

San Genero Feast - September 16, 2004


We've been invited back to perform at The San Genero Feast again .Thanks to Bella Foods of Phoenix our sponsor, we will get to spend a few extra days in New York City.
Little Italy will be packed with people and venders will be everywhere selling all the wonderful Italian food they are famous for, and of course, the New York audiences are fantastic. We will be doing two shows Sunday evening, Sept.18th, on a stage positioned at the corner of Grand and Baxter Street right off Canal Street.
Steve, John and myself will be traveling east and are fortunate to be able to get Andrea Valentini on drums. You music buffs may recognize the name, he has been with “Blood Sweat and Tears” for over four years now. We're really looking forward to be there again, so if you are in N.Y. stop by and say hi!

 

 

 

Al as he appears in character playing the sheriff in a new horror film called El Charo. This photo was taken during the filming at Bartlett lake in Phoenix on location.
Al got to do his own stunt driving. Al will travel to L. A. to do another scene.
Look out sheriff Joe!

 

 AL RAITANO WINS BIG ON NBC TV SPECIAL
SECOND CHANCE : HE NOW HOLD THE TITLE AND HE RECEIVED A NICE CHECK FROM NBC!

Sunday evening, June 1st on NBC, millions of Americans watched as Al Raitano won 1st place on the NBC special Second Chance.The show auditioned thousands of contestants, all across America, and then narrowed their choices down to 10 people. All 10 contestants gave it their best, but Al stepped up to the plate and hit a home run. Keep your eyes on this guy, he's just getting warmed up.
Steve Gold performed the music Al used on the show.This proves once again to be a winning combination.

 

 NEW CD "MELLOW MOMENTS"

It's a beautiful CD, with Al singing some classic ballads & bossa nova's, while Steve arranges and plays a 40 piece orchestra. This is the first CD in a series. More to come.

 

 
 Al and Kevin Eastman hanging out at a holiday party. Kevin will be producing a series of animated films this year and has invited Al to come to L. A. and be some of the voice characters. Sounds like fun!

 

 AL ASKED TO MAKE BRIEF APPEARANCE
IN NEW SCI-FI THRILLER BASED ON THE LIGHTS OVER PHOENIX

You may remember the story about the lights over Phoenix in March of 97. Look for Al as the disgruntled father-in-law . The film is due out this fall.

 

 

 
 Sugar Ray's Mark McGrath gets chummy with Al at a recent performance of Al's in Phoenix. Mark had heard about Al's show because his dad has been a fan of Al's for many years. Mark joined Al on stage & Al made him one of the Temptations in his famous Temptation's routine. A great time was had by all!

 

 

 AL & BAND MAKE CAMEO APPEARANCE IN GREASEWOOD FLATS

Al & Steve Cameo in an independent film,Greasewood Flats. Produced by Susan Brigham.It's due out at the end of August. Al & his band-Steve Gold and Chris Ross pretend to be auditioning in the wrong place at the wrong time. They perform"Bubblin with Love" an original song written by Steve & Stephanie Gold.

 

 

WHIPLASH TO PREMIERE OCTOBER 15th, Harkins Art Theatre- Tempe, AZ.

Al co-starred in his second feature film called "Whiplash" where he had the opportunity to work with academy award winner Ernest Borgnine. He portrayed an ex-con who while in jail studies law, and upon his release, opens a law firm and decides to strike back at the system. With his brother Tony as his partner, and an unsuspecting young lawyer they hire to do their dirty work, they create accidents of their own and a lucrative business for themselves. While causing a lot of mayhem in the city they stumble on a real case that changes everything. The film was shot in Arizona and will be premiering at the Harkins Art Theatre in Tempe. It will be showing Oct. 15th through Oct.21st.
